Since I was a child, I have always loved horses. If you caught me drawing, it would most likely be sketching a horse. But in all that time I have never actually tried painting a horse - I guess because I always thought painting one would be difficult (I mean, it is! There's so much detail in their movements, in the rippling of their muscles as they trot, canter, even just standing in a field). And knowing myself, I would never be happy with a painting of a horse that I did that didn't do the horse’s form justice. So I set about doing my first painting of a horse, and I chose one of my favourite horse breeds - an Andalusian.
In this painting, I wanted to create a colourful and dynamic sunset as the background, with a serene Andalusian mare standing in a field of sagebrush. Pearlescent hues added to the thick sagebrush add a 3D element to the painting and shift colours as your perspective to the painting changes, becoming brighter in some areas and darker in others.

Did you know: in Feng Shui, koi fish are supposed to represent abundance, prosperity, good fortune, and success. They are prolific in Eastern culture and different colours of koi represent different things. In this case, the silver koi represents business and wealth, and the fiery gold and red koi represent wealth, prosperity, and positive life transformation. In this painting, the two koi fish are mirroring one another, symbolising harmony and reciprocity.

Oh to be a chameleon hanging out in the trees and blending in with beautiful foliage. This painting is part of my “Colour Therapy” collection, where various colours are used to bring out different feelings for the observer. In this case shades of green and blue dominate and are used to create feelings of calm and serenity, while the pop of vibrant warm colours in the chameleon and flower are used to bring out some warmth and joviality.

At some point you realise you don't want to go with the flow, you want to make waves!
This is a large, heavy impasto painting on a 100x120cm stretched box canvas of an overhead view of waves crashing against rocks in the seas. A combination of pearlescent and non pearlescent acrylic paints were used to add shimmer and depths to the sea. This is certainly a statement piece that brightens up any wall it's hung on. The edges are painted with a shimmering bronze acrylic paint, so there is no need for a frame.
Double varnished for protection against UV exposure and handling, signed and dated on the back.

Growing up on the sunny island of Cyprus, I always loved going to the seaside. The azure waters are always crystal clear and refreshingly cool on a hot summers day. In the evenings we would have our dinners at local restaurants close to the coast, indulging in delicious mezes with the sound of the waves dancing on sandy beaches like music in the distance.
In this painting, I wanted to capture that same alluring azure blue hues; the way the light dances on the waters and how the deep waters turn a mysterious darker hue.
This is an abstract, heavy impasto acrylic painting of sea waves on stretched canvas, using a combination of pearlescent and non pearlescent acrylic paints to give a shimmer and depth and make you feel like you have a private view to your own slice of the Mediterranean sea.

Winter Rain is a heavy impasto abstract painting created on a large stretched canvas.
This piece was inspired by droplets of rain on a window on cold winter days, the different colours of droplets a reflection of the lights outside. Highly reflective chrome paint is also used to add extra shine and sparkle, creating extra dimension to the painting.

This sky blue cotton baseball hat has been hand embroidered by myself using an original design. Adorned with a rainbow, hearts, flowers and leaves, it's sure to bring a playful and fun statement to any wardrobe.
Great care has been made to ensure high quality of embroidery by only using high quality materials.
High quality DMC cotton skeins were used for the embroidery.
Spot clean or hand wash at 30 degrees using a gentle detergent for sensitive clothes.
